Bloxwich Library and Bloxwich Library Theatre, in Elmore Row, Bloxwich, originally opened 1960-64, underwent major refurbishment in 2009-10, and the complex was rebranded ‘Bookmark Bloxwich’ on reopening in September 2010.
In the year which followed, a new programme of use for the theatre has been built up, with Bloxwich Library Forum joining forces with staff of Bookmark Bloxwich to manage events at the theatre.
The Forum has also built on its previous role as a group of local people and library supporters consulting on the rebuild of this cultural complex, continuing to act as an interface or conduit linking library, theatre and community.
The Forum acts as a committee to manage events in the theatre, as well as providing practical support for events on a voluntary basis. A forum supporters group for local people who would like to help out but might not be able to make the same regular commitment as forum members is also being formed.
This page offers events details and any other relevant information, and will be added to from time to time.
